My Favorite Style For Fall 2018 : The Chloé Edit
Personal style is something I feel incredibly passionate about. Your style is not only what sets you apart from the crowd, but is also a direct reflection of your personality, mood and overall individuality! Each year my style is heavily influenced by the past! I look to my muses, Brigitte Bardot, Jean Shrimpton, Audrey Hepburn and a few other 60s and 70s icons! I can also take inspiration from film and music, as both are so intertwined with fashion and have truly informed my choices through the years! That being said, rarely does one specific top designer influence me so heavily that I gravitate towards their entire line and even splurge on one of their pieces. A few examples of this effect through the years would be Ralph Lauren (always classic and obviously gorgeous), Chanel (when is my french loving heart not inspired by Chanel), then there is Burberry and the list could actually go on to a few more!
This season my attention has completely been stolen by Chloé! I am obsessed with their prairie chic styling and I find myself making choices that emulate their current line! It feels feminine, soft and has just enough whimsy to keep me totally amazed and romanced! One of my favorite purchases of 2018 has to be my new Chloè Faye Bracelet Bag. I first saw this bag back in the early winter and then quickly fell in love with all that is Chloé! I have had the Faye for a few months now and reach for it constantly over all of my other designer bags. It is beyond chic and truly elevates any outfit!
Let’s breakdown the Chloé style and how you can get inspired by the brand! The spirit of the Chloé brand can be seen best in their flawless layering and luxurious fabrics and materials, everything else is texture meets texture! What most stands out to me while watching a Chloé runway show is the skillful layering of a variety of fabrics and prints! Each outfit comes together with ease and makes the wearer look confident, bold and sexy without being revealing. The easiest way to emulate this style is by layering up your fabrics. In my look I have taken a cream smocked dress and paired it with a chunky oversized knit, a stack of gold necklaces, my favorite neutral suede boots and my Chloé Faye Bracelet Bag. This look has been my favorite interpretation of the brand’s style that I have made so far. I plan to style many more outfits using this formula as the colder months set in!
